Sydney Med City2Surf Support GlobalHOME Birthing Kit Project

On August 14th Sydney Med students will be running 14 km from Sydney City to Bondi's beautiful surf!

Some will be beating old times, others doing it for the first time and some might just be hoping to make the distance in any time! Participating in this massive annual event is great fun and a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause.

So please sponsor Sydney Med's runners and support GlobalHOME's Birthing Kit Project!

GlobalHOME is Sydney University's Global Health group.

Our Birthing Kit Project:

Each year we fundraise for the purchase of materials to construct Birthing Kits (http://www.birthingkitfoundation.org.au/), which we put together and send to developing countries so that women can give birth under safer and more hygeinic conditions.

The 2011 Sydney Medicine City2Surf team will be running in support of this cause on August 14, which we are very excited about!
